Director of Photography, Producer/Director
Dale Rhodelander – Associate Producer and Director of Brand Manager and Integration
Dale offers more than 25 years of accomplishment-laden experience in the sales, marketing and advertising industries, driving achievement of the highest priority sales growth, brand development, product launch, market share, distribution, expansion, and operations efficiency goals. Dale has taken companies from start up, to sales in excess of $25 million, with that he brings valuable insight and knowledge regarding the leadership and management challenges faced by a small start up and growing companies and brands.
Cara Rolinson – Director of Social Media/2nd Unit Coordinating Producer
Cara comes with over fourteen years of experience in public relations, marketing and social media consulting. Her experience includes working with agencies in traditional public relations, places of higher education in marketing and currently she works with local companies and national brands to maintain their social media brand presence.
She is also the mother of two young boys and volunteers her time in her community. Cara has recently established and launched a social media presence for her local school district.
Catie is a recent graduate from Point Park University. Her skills as a Public Relations manager have given her an edge in the community. She knows the right things to say and knows the right people to tell the story. She has an amazing talent for writing and her skills as writer helps the team by telling the story through written dialogue.
Caitlin joins the team using her skills as an avid writer to deliver the content you will read about each episode on the website and all other websites where you can find information about The Rise. She also will be using her skills from being a Senior Public Relations major at Point Park University by managing all PR related to The Rise. At first, Caitlin was attending school for pharmacy, but found that public relations is where her heart really was.

Ryan is a student at Point Park University and brings years of photography experience to the team. His experience includes many different photography types from Portraiture to ENG style shooting. He has a dynamic eye for detail and can capture an image that tells the story. Ryan’s work will be seen on the social media side of the production, documenting the stories of those rising up through his photography.
Michael Barger is a student in the Cinema Production and Digital Arts major at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with a concentration in directing and film editing. Michael comes from Buter, Pennsylvania where he was heavily involved with the Butler Area Senior High School BTTV school news broadcast program where he learned his love for film and telling the human story.
Michael is also the winner of the Russell Standard Scholarship and the Armstrong Excellence in Media Scholarship and has also been in the Point Park University Best of Cinema Showcase, once in his freshman year for directing and once in his sophomore year for editing. Michael’s favorite forms of media are directing short narratives and creating experimental film projects in his spare time.
Jess Shannon – 2nd Unit Camera Operator
Jessica Shannon is a junior broadcasting major at Point Park University. With a passion for video production and television for the past 6 years, she will bring her experience and skills to the team as a camera operator. Jess also works as a part time childcare giver and works at the television studio at her school on top of being a full time student.
Donna Winnick is a senior at Point Park University where she is currently studying Broadcast Journalism with a concentration in Television Production. She has interned with ABC San Diego for the writing and investigation departments. Her experience as a journalist has given her the ability to know the right questions to ask and she knows how to tell a story.
Mary Zehler, nicknamed Franny, is currently attending Point Park University. Majoring in photography, Franny has a passion for visually documenting people and personality. She has enjoyed photographing and capturing video at special events, sports, and around town. Her unique way of capturing the moments are a welcome addition to the team.
